Quincy Ortman Launches Virtual Engineer:

Quincy Ortman Cylinders is proud to announce the release of our new distributor commerce site - Virtual Enngineer.  On May 12, 2008, Virtual Engineer was released to Quincy Ortman distributors through training sessions held on May 12, 16, and 19.  Virtual Engineer is a new guided selling and commerce tool, used for configure and quote cylinders quickly and easily.  Virtual Engineer offers the fastest quotation response in our industry.  We have enjoyed an overwhelming response and reception to this new guided selling tool.  Additional training sessions are still available to distributors and partners on May 23, 27, and 30.  If you are a distributor and are interested in participating in future training events please contact the factory. 

Quincy Ortman cylinders announces software change

Quincy Compressor/Quincy – Ortman Cylinders have purchased the Oracle manufacturing/accounting software package. They are currently establishing the foundation and will be fully implemented  by the fourth quarter of 2008
